Hi everyone, I’m Dr. Dominik Schulz!
I am a data science professional with training in statistics and machine learning, in particular (but not only) in the context of time series analysis and predictive modelling. As a huge part of my doctoral studies at the Chair of Econometrics and Quantitative Methods, Faculty of Business Administration and Economics, Paderborn University, I developed a lot of statistical software, especially for the free software R. Nonetheless, I am also well-versed in MySQL and Python, which I regularly incorporate in my own data analysis workflows.

Statistician & Data Scientist
This site functions both as a personal website and a blog (called Stats Rsenal) on topics related to data science, time series analysis, and programming. However, new blog posts will only appear irregularly. Regarding programming topics in the blog, I will mainly focus on R but also incorporate posts on SQL or Python from time to time.
Also check out my data science project portfolio with interesting machine learning solutions to real-world business problems, where different popular tools, such as R, Python and MySQL, are used. These projects are unique and nowhere else to be found on the internet, because they always involve data that I either scrape from the web myself or that I create synthetically for the purpose of the corresponding project.
